Resident Services

Lakeside Assisted Living offers the most value for a wide variety of services available. We are able to do this by presenting each resident with a “Preferred Plan of Care” that enables a resident to pay only for the services they require. In other words, if your initial Plan of Care indicates you are not in need of any special service, you pay only for your basic rent on a monthly basis. If however, in the future, your needs may require services such as medication management or assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing or bathing, you will pay only for that added service.

The Preferred Plan of Care will be determined by a pre-admission assessment by qualified Lakeside Staff. Together with your physician and other healthcare professionals, Lakeside will provide you with a meaningful and updated wellness program to insure you have a plan of care that will best fit your needs at all times.

In addition to your Preferred Plan of Care, Lakeside is proud to offer other services such as:

  • Licensed nurses and trained caregivers 24 hours a day
  • LifeLine Emergency Response System
  • Weekly housekeeping and linen service
  • Shuttle bus and chauffeured transportation
  • Full time activity coordinator
  • Physician and rehab services
  • Caregiver breaks

Often there are circumstances when caregivers need a break or just have a simple vacation scheduled. This is the opportune time to schedule a respite stay at Lakeside. Knowing that your loved one is in a safe and secure environment while you are away allows you to take some much needed time off to relax and recharge.

RESPITE Service

At Lakeside we understand there are times when you need a helping hand for a short period to get you back on your feet again. Whether it is because you have been discharged from a hospital or rehabilitation center and the thought of returning to your own home alone is overwhelming or that a recent illness has left you temporarily “laid up,” we can help.

With our Respite Care, you will receive the same amenities and supportive services offered to our permanent residents. We even have an in-house rehab service The Weston Group that will make it easier and quicker to get you through your transition period and back into you own home as soon as possible. Our staff will monitor your progress and encourage your recovery.

All care and amenities are included with our Respite Service. Activities, three meals a day, transportation and housekeeping are included. You will stay in a fully furnished apartment with cable hook-up and telephone provided. You will also have access to our state–of-the-art LIFELINE Emergency Response System that alerts staff to any emergency situation that may arise.
