How are fees determined?
At Lakeside, we provide services based upon your individual needs. Your monthly fees are determined based on a combination of floor plan chosen, your level of care, number of occupants per room, and any ancillary services you may choose. Assisting your loved ones and guiding them to make wise choices for their changing needs can be overwhelming, however, discussing your needs with our trained and dedicated healthcare professionals is the most effective way to make an informed decision. What amenities are included in all levels of care?
- Lifeline ™ Emergency Response System monitored 24/7 on site
- Licensed and Registered Nurse staff on site 24/7
- Weekly visits by physician and Nurse Practitioner
- Lab services on site 2 times per week through PRMC (Peninsula Regional Medical Center) Laboratories
- Utilities (electric, water)
- Basic cable television
- 3 meals per day served restaurant style
- Weekly housekeeping service
- Linen service performed weekly or as needed
- Washers and dryers on 2nd and 3rd floors with automatic soap dispensers
- Chauffeured transportation for appointments within a 10 mile radius
- Nightly 2 hour checks
- Monthly pharmacy medication review
- Activities on site and weekly trips out (*)
- Concierge service
* Nominal fees are typically associated with trips out to restaurants, theatre groups, sports events, etc.
What are typical ancillary costs?
Typical services and items for which Lakeside charges extra are, but not necessarily limited to:
- Continence care supplies
- Bandages and associated dressing change supplies
- Laundry services ($35 month assisted living; $40 month Compass Program)
- Beauty and barber shop services – fee for service / separate price sheet
- Room service meals ($5 / meal; no charge if ill)
- Guest meals - $5 lunch; $10 dinner
- Therapy services through Sundance Rehab – private cost or bill insurance
